Someone start posting!!!

Hello All.
I have been away for a couple of weeks, came back and thought that this was another forum that had fallen by the wayside. One thing for sure it won't last long if someone doesn't take part and start to post something!!! So come on you miserable bunch, get your finger out
I am fishing the only match I fish in the season tomorrow and will of course let you all know how I got on

Firstly good luck chubby....now for posting,i have looked in many times and found nothing being added so i just logged out again....i have my own site and one thing is for sure you need to build a hardcore membership in order to get the forum moving other wise it goes no were....i can not see this membership forming one and the lack of posts prove that....a big effort is needed by all in order for any site to work and move forward,i hate sites that are one track minded in other words,all Barbel talk,tench,carp and dare i say match you need variety on any site,keep it open for all....now don't get me wrong this site is still in the making,very early days yet but it needs to be more active and i have in the past tried to do that and i will be adding something else soon i hope but i agree with chubby on this the lack of posts are very worrying a lot of sites have hit the buffers this year and more will follow lets hope this one is not one of them

I will get typing and get some more features up on here, I also need to spread the word somehow and get people to visit. So its thinking hats on!

It will come though, i've not had much time lately to do much on it as been fishing too much!


As the winter evenings draw in though, will have more time to get stuff uploaded to it

Hello All.
Well that time of year came around yesterday when I fish my annual River Dove match. I am pleased to say that it was a match that had very little support until a bunch of forum members from the DVAA took over and although the numbers could still be increased a little it does mean that it is a very friendly, light hearted affair. We all arrived at the river to the smell of bacon being cooked on stoves on the bankside. Bacon butties followed and the general chin wagging/banter that happens whenever we meet. The pegs were drawn and away we went, unfortunately the river is really out of sorts and in need of a good flush through and it could definitely do with some extra water on, this I am afraid showed in the results and out of 14/15 anglers only about five people caught. The eventual winner only needed approx 6lb of fish to claim first prize!!!! Chubby had nothing to show but the proverbial "Chequebook and Pen".
However a very enjoyable day was had!!!!!!

As long as you enjoyed it chubby, thats what its all about! Shame no Berties ended up in the net though.

The day I stop enjoying it is the day I sell my gear, not that I think it would ever ever happen!

This has great potential as a site, just need to spread the word and get some members in.

The content will look after its self then.
