--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Put my nane down for this a while ago after joining TFC, sixty anglers fished friday and saturday 29th 30th May.
Never been to the Glebe before what a great place it is, very well looked after.
Took enough bait with me to sink a battleship on advice from a few members and off I went to find the draw.
On day one i drew on Foundaition lake peg 15 which turned out to be off site Roy Marlow and a few of the lads said I would have a good day on there. In the van again and off I go to find my peg.
Luckily I followed the convoy of cars and carried my gear to my peg, looked fantastic here it is

Set up two margin rigs as I could clearly see fish at my feet kicking the bottom up, two shallow rigs one on a long line to avoid spooking with the pole if it goes flat.
Took my ages to get set up and then took some more photos of the lake here they are.
My margin swim, see the mud kicking up?

The all in was called, so I threw some hemp down the inside line and cupped some pellet out towards the island at 14.5m.
Started down the margin and caught three fish straigh away, all good fish about 5lb each While pinging pellets on the 14m line all the time.
I couuld now see the fish coming up in the water for the pellet, margin went dead so out came the shallow rig at 14m.
No bites for a while which was strange as there were fish there as they were fizzing?
Kept plugging away at it feeding half a pouch of 6mm pellets all the time, after a few minutes i missed a bite
But was a good sighn that they were here, then i finally connected to a fish.
Got it in and was around 3lb,the peg got better and better through the day and i caught pretty much all day on this line.
After three hours I thought i better start another net as was catching well
Kept feeding the inside every few minutes and checking it but no joy, so stuck at the shallow line which was producing smaller carp but lots of them!!
Caught well for the last two hours and I recon I filled my other net with carp and had a few big silvers in yet another net
The all out was called and i was totally cream crackerd as I caught well all day but not many margin fish WEIRD
Someone at the other end of the lake had weighed 180lb I knew I had done well but wasnt sure if I had that much?
Five weighs later I had caught 202lb,One of my nets went over a ton as well so it only couted as 100lb.
Turned out I won my five man section, the bloke opposite me in my section had 185lb well done that man!!
Back to the Glebe to find out the results from all over the complex and draw for day two.
Turns out there were a couple of 190lb weight but my 202 was top on the day
Needed a good draw now to be in good contention, an end peg was what you needed as they all sacked up.
I drew pool 6 peg 91 right in the middle DOH
Will try and do another write up later to let you know how i did, catch you later
